What's on near our sites over Easter 2019

Discover what's on near our glamping sites this Easter weekend. Head to our sites from 19-22 April to enjoy family-friendly activities from a giant Peter Rabbit Easter hunt in the Lake District to an Easter bonnet competition in Brighton.

Join the Easter bonnet competition at Hangleton Manor

  • 11am - 1pm on 19 April 2019 (Good Friday)

Take the family to Hangleton Manor in Hove this Good Friday for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. The ‘Fairy Dust’ entertainers will be on hand to liven up the party, plus there'll be a tombola, face painting and BBQ to enjoy once you've worked up an appetite. Mayor Dee Simson will be on hand to judge the Easter bonnet competition too, so make sure you've pulled out all the stops with your entry.

Spend your Easter with Peter Rabbit

  • 19 - 22 April 2019 (Good Friday to Easter Monday)

There’s loads to do at the World of Beatrix Potter this Easter, from Peter Rabbit’s Tea Party on 20 April to a mini egg hunt on the 21st and 22nd. On these dates, every child’s entry ticket will include the mini treasure hunt plus, on Good Friday children can get free entry to the attraction when wearing Easter bonnets.

Visit the World Beatrix Potter in the Lake District

Feed animals and go indoor karting

  • 19 - 21 April 2019 (Good Friday to Easter Sunday)

Feed the animals, go indoor karting or see if you can work your way round the indoor straw bale maze at one of the Lake District's top attractions - Lakeland Maze Farm Park. Those looking to let off some steam should head for the outdoor trampolines, or enjoy a tractor and trailer ride around the farm. If you're feeling competitive, give the giant draughts a go.

The National Trust are partnering with Cadbury again for 2019 with their Cadbury Easter Egg Hunts. We’ve got plenty of sites nearby National Trust properties so you can hunt for eggs all over the country with your little ones.

Hunt for Easter Eggs across the country with the National Trust

Take an outdoor trail at Belmont House and Gardens

  • 11am - 3pm on 21 April 2019 (Easter Sunday)

The whole family will enjoy exploring the 18th century Belmont House and Garden. Follow the outdoor trail around the grounds to be in with a chance of winning a chocolate treat, and visit the orangery to get creative with Easter crafts and activities.

Experience an Easter wonderland at Blenheim Palace

  • 19 - 22 April 2019 (Good Friday to Easter Sunday)

The Pleasure Gardens at Blenheim Palace turn into an Easter Wonderland over Easter weekend. Kids can enjoy everything from a Princess Meet & Greet to balloon modelling and much more at the famous World Heritage Site, Historic House and Gardens.

There’s also an Easter Puppet Show perfect for families, a bouncy castle, bungee trampolining and archery, so plenty for all the family to get involved with.

See the Passion of Jesus in Trafalgar Square

  • 19 April 2019 (Good Friday)

For something a little different, head to London’s Trafalgar Square for a full-scale re-enactment of Jesus’ final days. The event is free and sees 100 performers (including animals!) follow the story from his arrest to his resurrection. After the event you'll be perfectly located for exploring the rest of the city, and on the doorstep of attractions like the National Gallery.
