Take the kids on an ‘egg-citing’ adventure at Mottistone Gardens, with their Easter Activity Trail from 11 – 24 April 2022. Head off on your adventure and complete your activity sheet as you listen to the sounds of spring and explore the ten activity points within the gardens. Venture to the Wild Area, whilst looking for animal tracks and make stick sculptures and make your own nature discoveries. Don’t forget to claim your chocolate egg with a completed activity sheet.

There’s a whole day of fun to be had with the Great Railway Easter Hunt at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway from 15 - 18 April 2022. Follow the clues as you explore the stations hunting for Easter eggs, find them all and claim your prize. Enjoy the daily falconry flying display as well as plenty of fun and games around the station. Finish off the day with a springtime ride through the Island’s picturesque landscapes.

Calling all amateur palaeontologists! Join in the family adventure at the Isle of Wight Council’s Dinosaur Isle Museum in Sandown this Easter. Known as ‘Dinosaur Island’, the Isle of Wight is one of the best places in the UK for discovering dinosaur remains. Take part in daily fossil walks hosted by experts from the museum on most days throughout 5 – 22 April 2022.

Take an outdoor Easter adventure trail at the Needles. Help ‘decorate’ the Battery with spring colours on a giant blackboard, create a lighthouse bug hotel and go ‘bat spotting’ as you go in search of the different bats that hang around! Complete the activities and make your own nature discoveries with the whole family at the Needles Old Battery from 15 – 18 April 2022.

There is family fun to be had on the track this Easter with Wight Karting in Ryde, who are running karting challenges so you can race your whole family and see who gets the fastest lap time. Enjoy a zooming good day and receive a certificate and a medal for taking part, and then enjoy a complimentary specialty milkshake in the clubhouse afterwards.
