How do camping pods differ from glamping pods?

If you've explored the Experience Freedom site, you'll notice that we offer glamping pods as well as camping pods. So what's the difference?

Camping pods are similar in size to a shepherd hut and, while offering a luxury glamping experience over traditional tent camping, they don't come with all the mod-cons and frills that glamping pods do.

Experience Freedom glamping pods, in contrast, have a small kitchen area inside the pod, as well as an en suite bathroom and bunk beds for the kids. When you stay in a camping pod, you'll have full access to the kitchen facilities, toilets and shower blocks on site with other campers.

Why stay in a camping pod?

These wooden huts offer a fantastic alternative to tent camping, without all the frills of a full glamping pod.

These luxury pods are cosy, warm and sheltered with a wood lined insulated roof and double glazed french doors. So whether you don't yet own a tent but want to experience the fresh outdoor air for yourself, or you're after a bit more luxury than your usual camping setup, one of these is the ideal  accommodation type for you.

Where can you stay in the UK?

At Experience Freedom we have pods at three sites around the country. You'll be able to go glamping in one of our pods in Coniston in the Lake District in Cumbria, Brighton on the Sussex coast, and in Abbey Wood in the heart of London.
