    Keen cyclists can follow the Norfolk Coast Cycleway, where regular route markers provide directions. The nearest National Cycle Network route to the site is route number 1, which covers Felixstowe to Boston.

    The site is situated just a few minutes' walk from a sandy beach which stretches for miles along the Norfolk coast. If you're up for a longer walk, the seaside town of Great Yarmouth is just over a mile away and you can walk along the seafront or the River Bure to visit.

    Naturally, this racecourse site is perfect for those wanting to attend a race day. Concessionary tickets for race days are available from reception - you'll save half the price of on-gate tickets!

     

    Alternatively, explore the city of Norwich. Easily walkable, it is the most complete medieval city in the UK and has a great arts, music and cultural scene, with fantastic shopping to boot.

     

    Fairhaven Woodland & Water Garden is another must-visit, offering peace and tranquillity in the great outdoors.

    The Avenue Pub is a 2 minute walk from the campsite and offers traditional pub grub and a small pub garden.

     

    If you're headed to the beach, Munchies cafe is not too far away and offers dog-friendly snacks as well as a range of breakfast and lunch items for humans!

    There's plenty to discover with the family nearby, including Pleasurewood Hills and BeWILDerwood. The former is a theme park home to over 40 rides and a soft play area for the really little ones, whilst the latter offers forest zip wires, jungle bridges and boat trips for everyone to enjoy.

    The Sea Life Centre and the Merrivale Model Village are around 10 minutes from site and offer a great day out for the whole family.
