Before you arrive, we want to ensure you have everything you need in order to have a relaxing and fun glamping break away.
From time to time there may be important information you need to be aware of ahead of your arrival, from Dark Sky Sites to travel updates or changes to our facilities. There may also be some additional extras that you can purchase ahead of your stay to make your visit extra special.

Coniston is a dark sky site, pack a torch and prepare for great views at night!
Park Gate, the access road to the site, will be closed nightly for resurfacing from 1–7 June, between 6:00pm and 5:00am.
There is a selection of food vans at the campsite available for you to enjoy.

From 11 June to 17 June Llwyn-y-Cil road will be closed from 7pm until 6am. There will be no access to the site during this time as the road is unsuitable for caravans and motorhomes due to narrow roads.

The Sandringham Estate will be closed to general visitors from 20 - 23 August 2026 for Heritage Live's concert series. This includes the Visitor Centre car parks, Courtyard facilities (including the cafe and restaurant), and the play area near Sandringham House. There may be traffic delays, road closures and diversions during this period. Please see Sandringham Estate website for further details.

Please note the dates for 2026 Brighton Pride are 31 July - 2 August. During this time generally the site runs full and embraces the colourful vibrant atmosphere of the weekend.

The main vehicle gate is closed between 22:00 and 08:00 (the pedestrian gate remains accessible 24/7). If you need to leave earlier than 08:00 on the day of departure then please speak to the site office staff the day before to arrange parking outside the gates (Late Night Arrivals area) overnight.

Southland is a dark sky site, pack a torch and prepare for great views at night!
Great news - Fast check-in is in operation at Southland campsite. Five days prior to your arrival, you will receive instructions by Text on how to use fast check-in and to confirm your vehicle registration. For more information visit camc.com/fastcheckin.
The Isle of Wight Festival will be on from Thursday 18 June to Sunday 21 June. While the event is taking place, the site will be very busy and noisy late into the evenings while guests return from the festival.
Dark Sky Campsites
What are Dark Sky Discovery Sites?
A dark sky site means you're far enough away from light pollution meaning the sky is extra dark at night and it makes it possible to see over 1000 stars without the need for a telescope. We are very fortunate here in the UK with so many fantastic areas for stargazing and in some of these places, it’s even possible to see our Milky Way.
If you're an astrology enthusiast or just fancy a spot of stargazing, these could be the top sites for you to visit in the UK.
Dark Sky Sites are in the middle of nowhere, so it's advisable to pack an extra torch for walking around the campsite after dark.
