If you’re based further south, don’t miss the Blenheim Palace Food Festival, which takes place over the bank holiday weekend and has proved hugely popular with locals and tourists alike. Set in the palace’s Pleasure Gardens, it showcases the produce some 160 exhibitors, meaning you can enjoy artisan bakes, craft beers, gourmet burgers, vegetarian produce and more.
You can also view cookery demos and talks from high profile chefs, as well as learn how to pair foods with wine and beer. Stay at our Burford site to be close to the action – it’s just half an hour from Blenheim.

Head to East Brighton Park for this lively music festival featuring Dizzee Rascal, Shy FX and DJ Luck and MC Neat. Conveniently located behind the marina, guests can dance all day long to everything from house to hip hop, soul, reggae and funk. Tickets start at £33.60 for one day or £67.20 for the weekend.

The capital, of course, has its fair share of food festivals, and Taste of London, held in Regent’s Park, is one of the most exciting. It’s your chance to sample signature dishes from some of the city’s finest restaurants, take cooking masterclasses, see world-class chefs in action and enjoy live entertainment. Tickets cost from £20 in advance for adults and £10 for under 16s.

Spread over two weekends throughout the summer, Chris Evans’ family, music and motoring festival CarFest is packed to the brim with activities for the whole family. Watch big artists on the main stage or discover new talent on the wigwam stage, be impressed by celebrity chefs and as the name suggests, browse a huge collection of cars - and even take one for a spin.

Head to Lyme Regis to discover some of the finest produce that Dorset and the South West has to offer. Bringing together professional chefs, exhibitors and foodies, it’s a great opportunity to enjoy excellent food and chat to local producers.
