Ideal for those seeking a UK accessible holiday, our glamping pods and glamping cabins are great for a diverse range of accessibility needs. A number of our sites offer wheelchair accessible holidays with level access, adapted facilities, and comfortable accommodation for everyone to enjoy a relaxing, barrier-free getaway.

Classic glamping pods - accessible

Sleeps up to 2 adults and 1 child

Our accessible glamping pods are suitable for a range of accessibility needs, offering level entry, wide doors and at least 1.5m turning circles where you really need them. Complete with stylish wet room and custom-built kitchen, these self-contained units are perfect for up to 2 adults and 1 child, with twin beds with orthopaedic mattress and a single sofa bed, along with a folding table for flexible living space. Heavy duty laminate flooring is perfect for wheelchairs and unsteady walkers, and high-spec insulation and underfloor heating will keep you cosy all year round. Outside there's a 2m covered canopy - perfect for sitting out in the evening, with an outdoor 2-seater bistro set.

Much like our glamping pods, glamping cabins are suitable for a range of accessibility needs. Comprising of twin beds with orthopaedic mattresses, bunk bed (suitable for 1 adult and 1 child) and single futon, these cabins offer family living without compromising on space. Enjoy al fresco dining in the covered outdoor living area with outdoor 2-seater bistro set and a storage box for muddy shoes, while inside a fold-away table allows for flexible living space. The cabin includes accessible facilities such as level entry, wet room, low-level counters and wide spaces for turning. Heavy duty laminate flooring is perfect for wheelchairs and unsteady walkers, and high-spec insulation and underfloor heating will keep you cosy all year round.

Accessible deluxe safari tents

Sleeps up to 5 adults

This safari tent is fully adapted to be inclusive for guests with a variety of accessibility needs. Sleeping up to 5 adults, it features three bedrooms, one with a twin/double bed, one with profiling twin beds with orthopedic mattresses, and a third with a single bed. It has a spacious wet room with low level basin, WC with grab rails and a shower with a seat. The kitchen comes equipped with low level units with space below the worktops, a full size fridge/freezer, a 2-ring hob and a microwave (note the microwave is not at low level). There is a dedicated parking accessible parking space and the tent is reached via a ramp to the 3m wide verandah where there's a table and chairs to relax outdoors and a storage box for muddy shoes. Entry door is 2m high and 1.4m wide and there are 1.5m turning circles for freedom of movement within the tent. A portable heater is provided as well as the wood burning stove to keep you warm and cosy.

Adapted superior glamping cabin

Sleeps up to 4 adults and 2 children

This superior cabin has been adapted to accommodate guests with accessibility needs. Sleeping up to 4 adults and 2 children, it features a twin bedroom with a profiling orthopedic bed, which has a second fold down bed next to it, allowing for turning space when the second bed is folded away. There is also a double sofa bed in the living area and a mezzanine area with twin beds. It has a wet room with low level basin, WC with grab rails and a shower with a seat. The well-equipped kitchen has a hob, oven and dishwasher, plus a range of appliances. (note the work surfaces are not low level). The living area includes a fold-away table. High-spec insulation and underfloor heating will keep you cosy all year round, plus there's heavy duty laminate floor throughout - perfect for wheelchairs and unsteady walkers. There is a dedicated accessible parking space and the cabin is reached via a ramp to the verandah, where there's an outside table with chairs and a parasol.

  • Tastefully designed wet room with flexible, top of the range accessible features suitable for guests with mobility needs (includes bath mat).
  • Custom-built kitchen with appliances to help prepare simple breakfasts, snacks and light meals, such as kettle, toaster, hob, fridge and microwave.
  • Utensils - corkscrew, tin opener, cutlery holder, knife set, cooking spoon, slotted spoon, spatula for frying, small saucepan, medium saucepan and chopping board. 
  • Tableware - dinner plates, side plates, bowls, forks, knives, spoons, tumblers, mugs and wine glasses.
  • Essential tech - such as flat-screen TV.
  • Electrical sockets & USB ports thoughtfully positioned for all accessible needs.

  • Brick BBQ station - 1 disposable BBQ supplied.

Frequently asked questions

We have several glamping sites with accessible accommodation. Classic universally accessible glamping pods and classic universally accessible glamping cabins are available at Cayton Village, North Yorkshire, and at Coniston Park Coppice and Troutbeck Head, both in the Lake District.

We welcome assistance dogs at our glamping sites. If you’re bringing an assistance dog, please contact our team by calling 01342 777533, emailing [email protected] or using our webchat, and we can then make the necessary arrangements.

A universally accessible glamping pod sleeps up to two adults and one child, offering level entry, wide doors and at least 1.5m turning circles. There’s a stylish wet room too. A universally accessible glamping cabin sleeps up to three adults and two children. It’s bigger internally and externally, with accessible facilities such as a wet room, low-level counters and wide space for turning.
